This dear soul is one of the gentlest, loving souls I have ever had the honor to meet in this lifetime. He is complex, yet so simple. One moment he is like a patient father, the next like a proud teacher, and yet another an ancient friend, or a beloved lover. He is so much at once.

Peter is infuriating and endearing, infinitely lovable and inspiring -- a sometimes cruelly beautiful and brilliant harbinger of change rippling over the fabric of my, and our, universe.

There is a space when we are in the circle together, raising the sun with our voices and vibrations. At once, Time suspends in the ecstatic fraction of a second between heartbeats, the breath crushes out of me, I am filled intolerably with the Soul of the World. I am broken. My essence shatters into a million particles of dust trapped helpless in that first light of day. Sol rises with a blinding glimmer across the vault of the sky.

A heartbeat later my breath returns, the sun has risen, the moment is past.
