At Xingolati, David was not even booked and people kept asking if he was going to spin. So where should we find him but perched behind a corner of the Casino bar turning an otherwise uninteresting midship intersection along Carnival Blvd. into the the jamminist joint on the boat. I was taking some photos when the hottie next to me says "this guy just saved my night!" After telling her who he was and making introductions, we realized we had been friends when we worked together eight years ago!

david and i go way back. he's seen me at my best and at my worst. he's never judged me. he has pointed out when i've made a bad decision or a really odd decision (yes, i knew she wasn't born a girl). but, those were welcome observations. dw is the kind of cat that will pull you out of a sink hole and is strong enough to not tumble in after you. i've been fortunate to call him one of my best friends for all these years.

David's not just an incredibly talented DJ and artist, but an amazing person as well. I feel fortunate to be his friend, and I look forward to seeing some really incredible things happen for him in the near future.
