Along my path of life I met a Goddess who reminded me how imortant it is to keep the
fires burning within my temple.
Selena is the Goddess that reminds all of us how sacred dance is and she has created a wonderful festival to bring in the Goddesses of dance together.

Floralia is a calling to each and every woman not only to remember herself but to spread the word of the Goddess. We all have Selena to thank for this.

Goddess Selena is the most versatile and unique dancer I have ever met. You never know what her next performance will invoke, but regardless of what it is, you will be stunned and amazed. Selena is the best thing that's ever happened to me besides my children. My mother gave birth to me physically and Selena gave birth to me spiritually. She opened my eyes and my mind to the philosophy behind the dance and has been a source of knowledge and inspiration since. The first time I saw Selena dance was after my very first performance on a real stage. I was sitting there watching act , after act after act roll on stage. At this point , I wasn't sure I wanted to keep dancing, I was a baby dancer and didn't realize the dance could use us in so many ways. Then, out of the curtain comes the most beautiful, enigmatic and mesmerizing woman in a red thobe wielding a warriors sword. She was everything I had ever pictured a real belly dancer to be. I haven't looked back since, Selena is my bellydance mother!
