Life is such a beautiful teacher. As a little girl I used to sit very still under the tree in our backyard until I blended into the life around me. That was when I saw the magic!! Birds, squirrels, butterflies, they all would return to their natural flow, and there I was a part of it all.

Later on as an adult, when I learned about meditation, I thought, aha, this is what I did as a child. This is such a natural thing to do. It slows me down to a pace where I can feel life. And with that awareness, balance is temporarily restored!
