I am an artist/musician/poet.
I head a music project called Playground that I started in 1998, we've been actively performing, recording and putting out CDs and mp3s ever since.
I also have a spin-off solo project/alter ego aka man_from_playground
I work by day making art, doing sound design, graphic design, alchemy, building things, growing things, helping people, and other fun endeavors to thrive and spread thrival in this world (see professional profile).
For the most part, I live a very humble or humbling existence. Simple.
I went to school at UCSB where I studied Film (mostly critical analysis).
I love the city for its diversity of people and thriving culture.
I love the country for its bio-diversity, its spaciousness, and the calming effects of being grounded. I love being outside during the day. I love staying up late at night too.
I'm quite happy to be here on Planet Earth, all of the amazing and beautiful people I've had the pleasure to share conversation, friendship, brotherhood, love, intimacy, and laughter with, as well as everyone who's been there for me when I've needed support.
I do my best to be as present as possible and live in the moment. A lot of mystical things happen everyday that we take for granted because we get so caught up in our very important little worlds. I'm thankful that I'm constantly reminded how vast and intricate life is, and how we're all here to share our journeys within it.

I've cultivated many different skills and job titles.
In addition to being a professional musician and a freelance illustrator and graphic designer, I have worked in non-profits as the communications director for In Defense of Animals, and as the international coordinator for Earthdance. I do sound design. I work as an alchemist making colloidal gold. I do construction. I've been a gardener, a delivery driver, a jewelry designer, a waiter, and more. I've also been the lead voice in a major Indian animated film. I've had gallery shows and even sold a few of my paintings for thousands of dollars.
