Today I woke up and saw the world in its true form for the very first time. I see that the word love means very little to most today and marriage is more of a business contract then a bond before God. I see that I love you comes with a price tag and to me that is so damn sad Today I woke up and saw that I live in a world where we would rather pay entertainers millions to make us smileyet the teachers that mode the minds of our future get paid shyt. The men and woman that put their lives on the line everyday to protect what we take for granted as well as the people that serve us our food, live just a few dollars away from poverty and we treat them like it. Today I woke up and saw a thousand ghetto youth age a thousand yearsmanifested by a thousand ghetto tears and a thousand ghetto fears. Parents refuse to instill the respect of fear in their seeds, but then cant understand why the streets have become donors as these youth bleed. It is far from the responsibility of the policepreachers or teachers to show your children how to avoid becoming a statisticthats your job isnt it? Today I woke up to people of faith afraid to put faith into the bringers of the word, because beware of false prophets, has never meant as much as it does today. Priests taking vows and becoming petafiles, yet a simple Im sorry and a tear and they never serve a year. Today I woke up to a nation that perpetrates and assassinates in the name of national security. Thousands of innocents die in the name of political gain in the blink of an eye. Like an ice cube in the hot desert sun, memories of them evaporate into thin air till they are none. Today I woke up and realized that everyone that told me that if you were bad, you would go to hell was a liar. Hell is where the devil was cast down into from heaven. Hell is where we live and die everyday and it feeds off our hate and distrust of each other. Hell as we know it couldnt exist without our help and our landlord loves us for it because we always pay on time. Today I woke upwhen will you????? - Dats Jus
