Six of us went at 7 p.m. on a Friday night. We were seated in 20 minutes, although they warned us that it could be 45. The bartenders and waiters were attentive and friendly -- without being to attentive that they interrupted our loud conversations. The food was delicate and delicious, the drinks exotic. An *in* place to eat
For an "in" place to eat, Jaleo is a good bet. It's loud and crowded, but excellent. On 6th or so, about 3 blocks north of Constitution. You order tapas off an extensive menu...order a bunch and pass around the table. You may have to wait on the sidewalk for a table if the bar area is already packed, so watch the weather.
