An excellent lounge that is home to some of the best music in DC, including Thievery Corporation. I've caught the live jazz there on the top floor, and it's outstanding. - Unsubscribed , posted 02/23/06 |
 I wasn't even told I was going to this place at first. I was with a group of 9 friends who just walked me up to the place. They let the guys in pretty much looking like trash, then the doorman hassled me because I was wearing 'sneakers', it wasn't proper 'girl attire'. I noticed what he meant after I got in! The gals were all dressed very very nice, but the guys were wearing whatever they cared to wear that evening. Complete double standard! I enjoyed the live jazz on the top floor, and the ambiance of the place, but as a gal who wears skirt suits and heel all day long for work, I just wanna wear a pair of comfy shoes for the evening! - Margot , posted 06/30/05 |
