Canadian band Black Mountain's second release is an Epic Incantation. "In the Future" conjures up visions & aural delights like those of Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, & Jefferson Airplane. By no means should this group be judged by them....their arrangements, instrumentation, & vocals are at an all time 70s big space/fantasy stoner high and... that's not too shaby!..an edgy Dark Art Rock approach that's amazingly refreshing in it's appeal. My pics are: 'Queens will Play' , 'Stomy High', 'Angels', 'Bright Lights', & 'Evil Ways' they'll be at the Rock and Roll Hotel tomorrow nite in D.C.
