I agree with Michael that Bardia's New Orleans Cafe is one of the most relaxing and conducive place to eat. You never feel rushed and Bardia is one of the nicest and most amenable people you will ever meet on 18th Street. - Irene , posted 10/15/04

Cozy Atmosphere and Four Star Cajun Food
It's not New Orleans ... but for me it's the next best thing. I love the Spinach Wrapped Chicken and, of course, the beignets with cafe au lait. Feel free to ask them to make things really spicey if you like (they tend toward the mild side). This local neighborhood bar deserves our support; I think we should all throw in our dimes and help them buy the building so they have more space! - Dreamwalker , posted 09/30/04
