Drive revenue for Seattle Based Attenex in the E Discovery software industry by building law firm relationships and selling our products and services, within an assigned geographic territory, to the AM Law 200. Responsible for prospecting new customers, contacting major accounts and managing relationships with direct and indirect customers all with the purpose of increasing sales and achieving an established quota target. Previous experience in the litigation support industry and knowledge of the legal discovery process/electronic data management is a plus.
Essential Job functions:
• Work the assigned territory within California to rapidly expand and build Attenex’s position in the market by prospecting new law firm customers, contacting current major accounts, and managing relationships. Major focus in Washington DC, Virginia and NY markets
• Successfully prospect at the Law firm partner level within targeted firms
• Deliver results at or above required quota levels
• Establish positive internal relationships to foster team selling while independently prospecting a territory; call upon necessary team resources to help close business
• Establish and build strong relationships with partners, customers, and external stakeholders
• Qualify, develop strategy, conduct business meetings, build business cases and develop proposals for clients
• Maintain constant and cordial contact and communications with a busy, sophisticated customer base as well as internal team.
• Demonstrate product features to prospective customers and business partners both in-person and via web
• Utilize Salesforce.com automation and consistently update all required information
• Formulate, manage and execute targeted account selling plans, while accurately forecasting as well as show strong pipeline management
• Work closely with the internal sales, marketing and product teams to communicate and coordinate customer feedback
• Participate in tradeshows and other sales related events and activities Experience and Education
• 5+ years of operational sales experience as a successful legal salesperson
• Strong background in driving an end to end customer experience and a proven track record of quantifiable selling success, including revenue growth
• Strong track record demonstrating successful quota achievement of at least 3 years
• Exemplary communications skills, both verbal and written
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent
• Ability to travel- 35% within the Northeast Region (DC / NYC / Virginia / Philly)
• Requires solid product knowledge and thorough understanding of sales policies and procedures with an emphasis on successful consultative selling processes
