Consultant/Analyst

Performing transportation demand model design, development, and calibration; developing traffic simulation models using VISSIM and Synchro, and travel demand and forecasting models using TransCAD and CUBE; applying demand models to forecast transit ridership and revenue; conducting statistical analysis; performing project evaluation for alternative service scenario analyses, new starts, and major investment studies; performing transportation survey design, processing, and analysis using ArcGIS; designing transportation network/service coding using Visual Basic; and writing reports outlining presentations of findings. Requires: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Civil or Transportation Engineering. Also requires: VISSIM and Synchro transportation planning and modeling applications; travel demand modeling and forecasting using TransCAD and CUBE; statistical analysis; programming in Visual Basic; ArcGIS; and travel survey analysis and processing.
